This is one of those recipes perfect to have on hand for the holidays or anytime you want to make a sweet treat that’s portable. It takes less than 10 minutes to make and is completely delicious and satisfying. Crunchy mulberries give this chocolate bark a texture reminiscent of a candy bar without adding any grains, popped rice, or other common ways to create a crispy chocolate! This chocolate bark is also beautiful to prepare and gift with the special touch of dried rose petals, orange zest, rose extract, which give the chocolate a delicate floral flavor with pops of citrus.

NUTRITION TIP: Mulberries contain iron, vitamin C, A, K, B vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants. Many states in the US actually can grow mulberries, otherwise you can purchase dried mulberries anywhere like health food stores.

  • This looks so great! The combination of chocolate and mulberries is spot on 🙂

    Hi McKel!
    Beautiful recipe 🙂

Isn’t it a concern that most chocolate chips are loaded with refined sugar? Wouldn’t making chocolate from scratch with coconut oil/cacao butter and cacao + raw honey be more beneficial? Love your recipes sooo much xx can’t wait to get your book xxx

    • Hi Zaheera! Thank you for the kind words! It’s not included in this post (I should add it!) but for my chocolate recipes I suggest vegan chocolate chips with the highest possible cacao percentage. 80% cacao is best, but they can be difficult to find so you can always try to substitute with my Raw Chocolate recipe to lower the sugar. You can get that recipe here: http://nutritionstrip.wpengine.com/assorted-raw-chocolates-six-ways/
