I’m all about dessert…and balancing that with plenty of greens (like in the Stripped Green Smoothie), protein, and healthy fats. But sometimes you just “need” a little chocolate and that’s totally okay including chocolate chip cookies (and the dough!) every now and then. Today’s recipe has all the taste and satisfaction of chocolate chip cookie dough but without the ingredients that leave many of us a not so great feeling afterwards + fiber and potassium rich bananas make it feel like an even sweeter treat. Oh, and did I mention there’s a protein and fiber rich secret ingredient in these? Chickpeas are hidden in this dip, they not only increase the protein and fiber content, but also give it a nice thick and creamy texture sans refined flours or sugars. Try these Chip Cookie Dough Banana Bites for yourself and see if it does the trick for your cookie cravings!

Try this recipe with homemade almond milk, vanilla cashew milk, or strawberry brazil nut milk which are all equally delicious. Hi, could you roll, these into cookies and bake them in the oven?

    • McKel Hill

No, these are primarily a “raw” type of dessert!

  • Rachel

Looks amazing!!!!! I would probably write “In a food processor or blender, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and bananas” instead, just to avoid confusion 🙂 can’t wait to try.

    • McKel Hill

Thanks for the suggestion Rachel, hope you enjoy them!

  • Shannon

I loved these! Made them last night and we ate almost all of them! They were just as good frozen the next day. AND we didn’t feel guilty eating them. I had a little trouble blending the dates perfectly but my blender needs an upgrade so that could be the issue 🙂

    Excited to buy your cookbook!

Thanks for the amazing feedback Shannon, so glad you all enjoyed them! xxM
