Have you ever felt like creating healthy eating or lifestyle habits felt like another thing that you needed to check off on your to-do list?

You know, when you have those feelings of, “Ugh, I have to cook dinner and I really don’t want to.”

Or maybe, “I just want to curl up on the couch with my dog and Netflix, but I have to go to the gym.”

We all have those moments from time to time — we’re humans and that’s okay!

But if you’re feeling this way every day or most days, then you may have this idea that your healthy habits are just another to-do list item.

✔ Workout

✔ Eat veggies

✔ Meditate

Even for those of you who love lists (looking at you Virgos!), this can really take away from the purpose of practicing healthy habits and can make it much more challenging for you to stay motivated and follow through every day.

A healthy lifestyle isn’t meant to be another list of things to check-off in your day. Yes, a healthy lifestyle starts with small daily practices that add up and transition into long-term habits.

Having healthy habits that support your wellbeing and make you feel your best is just the first layer — the true purpose of a healthy lifestyle is much deeper than that.

I’m hoping this will help you reframe your mindset so that it helps you realize how important and enjoyable a healthy lifestyle can be.

Put This Into Practice
