You deserve to feel your healthiest and happiest.
As a Registered Dietitian with 10 years of nutrition and wellness experience, I’ve been where you might be right now. I know what it feels like to not feel like myself but also feel good really good — it took me hitting rock bottom to have my health “ah-ha” moment that turned my life around.
Whether I was missing stress management tools to chill out or something in my diet was off causing gut issues, to not making the time for enjoying other things in life (i.e. fun!), as a true scientist in the head and artist at heart, I figured out the holes in my lifestyle through trial and error.
Nutrition Stripped started as a solution to my own health struggles, which grew into educating millions around the world to better health. I’ve made it my career to help people feel their best through learning the science of nutrition and the art of living well.
From 1-1 coaching, online programs, to creating an evergrowing resource, I’m super passionate about making it simple to understand the components of a healthy lifestyle, the science behind the food we eat and why, and how to make it work for you all while eating really delicious food.
Taking care of ourselves is not only vital to how we feel but how we show up in the world for others. There’s so much more to being healthy and happy than micromanaging nutrition, it’s a full spectrum of wellness that we need to nurture.
Happy to have you hanging around with us,
McKel Hill, MS, RDN, LDN Founder
When we learn about our bodies, we have the power to change the way we feel.
What I Do
As a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with ten years experience, my background is in the science behind nutrition, but equally as important, I’m guided by the NS philosophy which covers ten pillars of living well
that keep you feeling amazing. From stress management (we gotta chill), movement, sleep, loving relationships, to eating best for your lifestyle — I can help.
In my early career as a Dietitian, I had the privilege to care for a variety of diseases in a clinical setting— whether lifestyle-related or not — managing heart disease, cancer, autoimmune issues, thyroid conditions, metabolic syndrome, IBS, to women’s health in pregnancy. My personal favorite topics in nutrition revolve around healing our digestive system and brain health, keeping energy up, digestion calm, and focus sharp.
I’ve coached thousands of women to better their health through nutrition, lifestyle change, and how to live well beyond coaching sessions.
My goal is for you to live mindfully, have fun, eat good food, and feel your best — and that’s something we all deserve no matter what walk of life you’re coming from with your state of health.
Let Us Take Care Of You
At NS, our philosophy
is about teaching you how to listen to your body through simple mind-body strategies and focusing on a plant-centered nutrient dense diet. Let us take care of the hidden science behind each recipe — you’ll get the result of feeling great and the eating delicious food!
Nutrition is measured by how we feel and research is uncovering the many ways our bodies are affected by our microbiome, stress, inflammation, genetics, and lifestyle. We know that calories in don’t equal calories out — what plays a more important role is our genetics, hormones, environment, and the state of your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
We’ll work strategically with science as our backbone, yet teach you how to become more aware of your mind and body and the impact it has on your health.
We always keep it simple by delivering information in a digestible way, because that’s kinda our thing.
How It Works

Whether that’s rebalancing digestion issues, autoimmune conditions, weight loss, weight gain, balancing hormones, getting the glow, or improving your relationship with food — I can help and have a track record to prove it (longest case study: myself).

What Our Clients Say…
Kristyn J. —
When I started coaching with McKel, my goal was to learn how to feel good and strong in my body. I would wake after 8 hours of sleep feeling tired and I wanted that to change. After reading dozens of books and articles about personal development and health and wellness, I felt overwhelmed. I didn’t have a framework to incorporate the various prescribed strategies and practices into my day-to-day. Enter McKel. Her approach is a simple, back-to-basics one that is accessible and actionable. She provided a nutrition plan shortly after our first session and we worked together to tailor the plan for my food preferences and schedule. She taught me how to batch cook, which quickly became one of my favorite weekly activities. In short, she empowered me to take charge of my nutrition and exercise habits. My energy levels were noticeably up in just a few weeks and continue to improve. We also worked quite a bit on self-care and career transition. McKel asked the hard questions and encouraged me to spend time each week thinking about my values and what I wanted to feel and accomplish with my work. I’d been struggling with this transition for a long time. McKel’s approach helped me get unstuck and back on the path. I know obstacles will appear along the path again, but I now have the tools to work through them and get to the other side. Aside from her impressive qualifications, McKel is just a great human. She’s cheerful and encouraging but firmly encourages you to do the hard work. I felt supported every step of the way. At the end of our 3-month journey, I can say that the changes I’ve implemented with her help are real and sustainable. Know that you’ll be in good hands.

McKel and I worked together throughout several phases of marathon training, insane work schedule, inconsistent eating routine, etc and it was truly a beautiful time to explore those topics with her. I was constantly reminded that my goal is to find balance and not to look a certain way or to be a certain weight. I would look forward to sharing my accomplishments and finding new goals in between our sessions. It was helpful to have someone walk alongside my journey through eating and be open to trying new meal plans and changing things up to work around my schedule and needs. Overall, I feel much more balance and joy in my everyday life, eating, and training routine. I would highly recommend Nutrition Stripped Services, especially if you are struggling in any of these areas!

Approaching 50 I knew if I didn’t change my lifestyle I was destined to suffer the health challenges and diminished quality of life that has plagued my parents. Having never worked with a dietician before I didn’t know what to expect.I’ve been working with McKel since November 2015 and it was the best decision/investment I could have made for my well being. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. She’s always encouraging and helps keeps me accountable and motivated. I look forward to our sessions and always feel more focused on my goals afterward. The Nutrition Stripped website has been another valuable resource for information and great recipes. McKel’s passion for wellness is contagious so if you’re looking for a coach and a cheerleader on your path to a healthy lifestyle she’s your girl!

In just three short months I’ve formed new perspectives on health & wellbeing and was able to alter my lifestyle to one I believe everyone should live and experience; loving yourself, loving what you do, what you eat, how you move, and how you dream, believe & achieve! Talk about an all-over lifestyle leader this lady is fearless in the pursuit of helping you achieve your goals. She makes this possible through hard work and determination to connect with you personally on several of life’s different pillars. I was surprised to see how my sessions flew by and were wanting more. Great job McKel, keep inspiring women and doing what you do best, it is truly appreciated.
