At Nutrition Stripped our Wellness Coaching is made up of a growing team of health care professionals including Registered Dietitians utilizing the NS Method™. Our process that transforms daily practices into long-term health habits.

McKel Kooienga, MS, RDN, LDN CEO and Founder of Nutrition Stripped
McKel holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Ohio State University and is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.
With 8 years of coaching experience, she teaches the simplicity behind the science of nutrition and art of healthy living through recipes, health articles, online education programs, and private coaching practice.
McKel has dedicated her career to helping people feel their best through nourishing multiple pillars of health—and also feel good about the information they were getting about nutrition and wellness. She lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and Luna (their adorable Samoyed dog).

Erica Carneglia, MS, RDN, LDN Wellness Coach at Nutrition Stripped
Erica holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons College and is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.
Erica is all about the results! She’s a humble rockstar when it comes to supporting her clients’ journey to weight maintenance (weight gain or loss), cultivating a healthier relationship with food and disordered eating habits, and working with women of all ages to support women’s health (family planning, pregnancy, and family nutrition).

At NS, our method is about teaching you how to listen to your body through digestible mind-body strategies and focusing on a diet that supports your long-term health and goals.
Research will continue to uncover the many ways our bodies are affected by our diet and lifestyle. What plays an important role is our genetics, hormones, environment, and the state of your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Science and evidence-based research is our backbone. We use this framework in addition to coaching on how to become more aware of your mind and body and the impact it has on your health.
