Chaga

A mushroom commonly used in Eastern medicine for various health benefits. 

The Chaga mushroom, otherwise known as Inonotus obliquus, is a type of fungus that grows on the bark of birch trees in colder climates. The outside of the mushroom is rough and dark, while the inside is soft and has an orange color. It can be found ground up for tea or in capsule form as a supplement. 

Health Benefits of Chaga: 

The Chaga mushroom is known for its immunity-boosting properties. It has been shown to stimulate white blood cells, which are particularly important for fighting illness (1). They have also been associated with lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels, as well as preventing some types of cancer (2, 3, 4).
