Think organizing your pantry is a difficult task? Think again with these 5 Tips To Organize Your Pantry Like A Pro.

I have many of you ask me about what my pantry looks like and how to organize everything for easy access, but also how to organize to keep your healthy habits in full motion. I’ve posted many times on Instagram over the years on what some of my pantry looks like, today I’m going to show you a little tour plus my top 5 tips for organizing your pantry like a pro!

I’ve also included an entire Health Index dedicated to specific ingredients I always have on hand in my pantry and in the fridge. Check that page out for more detailed nutrition and health benefits on those goodies, but for now, let’s talk DIY and organization skills.

1. Start clean

First and foremost, get rid of the bad and put in the good. After you’ve cleaned out the “bad” items such as expired flours, canned goods, or foods that are no longer serving your health journey. In addition, it’s important to literally clean out your pantry.

2. Buy in bulk

Not only is it more affordable in the long run, but you can also start storing your grains, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, etc. in airtight mason jars which keep the food optimally fresh after you open them up to use time and time again. I use these types of jars in my pantry.

3. Label

Now that you’ve stored everything in airtight jars or containers, make sure you label them correctly so you don’t forget what’s inside! Grains can be especially tricky to identify if you have a lot of them and aren’t used to using them.

You can purchase sticker labels to put on the bottom, sides, or tops of the jars you have at home to make identifying the food items easier.

4. Create space

Utilize the most out of your pantry by not letting space go wasted! I love stacking shelving units to give a little depth, but also to create more practical room for storing. I use these shelves in my pantry for additional room.

5. Keep it stocked

Keeping your pantry stocked full of nourishing foods will not only keep your body healthy, but it’ll also ensure that whenever a delicious recipe pops up here on Nutrition Stripped, you’ll have all the ingredients you need to make it.
