A 1-minute Survey You Should Totally Take…Because You’re Awesome



Hey you!

I hope you’re doing well today! I’m sadly leaving Jackson Hole today from the Alere retreat I co-hosted with several others this past week- which was gorgeous! It was all about how to balance work/life/business and of course how our health has an impact on it. We had amazing hosts from floral designers unleashing guests creativity, branding workshops, photography workshops, and then I hosted one-on-one nutrition and wellbeing consults. It was really great! I’ll be hosting several retreats next year…around the world (!) and will be announcing those on my Events tab so just stay tuned.

On another note…like this title says, I wanted to share a survey with you all today. Every week I share so much of what I do, eat, etc. through social media and of course here…but what about you? I want to get to know you more, what you like to read, do, where you’re from, etc.; and of course any comments, suggestions, and feedback you have that would make your experience on the Nutrition Stripped blog even better.

I started this blog almost 3 years ago in January, time flies, purely as a way for me to share my passion, knowledge, and have some fun creating beautiful images and food (art was my first love!) and I had no idea what a strong community of you all it would create- that was only a mere dream of mine which has turned into a reality. Through this place we have here together, I want to connect more with you all, chat directly, but also have you chat with other women in this space—I mean why not? We’re all here for a reason right? To feel healthier, happier, and optimize our nutrition which always impacts how we feel with life in general. So, I thank you so much for supporting what I do on here, I truly would not put in the “work” each week if it weren’t for your support, emails, and comments in general- you guys are truly THE.BEST.SQUAD. ever.

Happy Sunday everyone! I’m here today to share a short and super sweet post with a giveaway! Last weekend at my Spring Brunch, I saw an entire garden full of almost ripe strawberries at Bloomsbury Farm, it got me in the mood for making something with strawberries. Kathy Patalsky has a delicious recipe for Strawberry Avocado Mache Salad in her new cookbook that I was able to share with you all here, it’s super simple, delicious, and beautiful. I’m also happy to say one of you will get to win her cookbook, which are an extension of her recipes found on her vegan food blog Healthy Happy Life. She has great recipes, very fun healthy twists on classic comfort foods made completely meatless. Although what I share on Nutrition Stripped are not vegan (read more on my food philosophy), many are vegan “friendly”, and her book is full of inspiring meals to make meatless or even with some flexibility.

When Nourish Snacks contacted me to try out a fellow registered dietitian, Joy Bauer’s new snack line, I jumped at the chance to try them! I’m always looking to find new brands and companies out there providing healthy snacks that are easy to grab and go, put in your lunchbox, and that are full of good quality ingredients. All of her ingredients are gluten free, dairy free, free of artificial colorings and preservatives, non-gmo, and no more than 200 calories (if you’re calorie conscious).

Hey everyone! First off, 2014 was an amazing year, more than I could’ve ever imagined and so much of the blogs success was because of YOU. I wish I could meet you all in person and say thank you, but till then writing through my blog will have to suffice.Nutrition Stripped has grown SO much in the past year, it’s still hard to believe the blog is still a baby and just turned 2! You’ve all been the biggest part of the success, with all your comments, support, and sharing Nutrition Stripped with others- I can’t thank you enough truly. It’s also that time again where I share another survey to get to know you all and learn what you want to see more of here on the blog.
